This was a convicting message for me to preach. Here's why.
The life that counts is one that invests themselves generously, pouring themselves into many opportunities that might take a long time to pay returns. They ignore the excuses of life, that what they're doing won't matter or they're not good enough at it. The life that counts banks on God's activity, knowing that even when he doesn't seem to be engaged, he is. This type of life rejoices and remembers life is good yet short, and still determines to dream God's dreams.
Which means the big things in life you dream about doing for God you ought to actually try.
Because you don't know if God will bless it or not. So go try.
